Which model should you use today
- Seedream 5.0 Pro: small poster text, non-English copy and tightly controlled edits.
- Seedream 5.0 Lite: up to 4K and large restyles, best value.
- Seedream 5.0 Flash: fast drafts and batch prompt testing.

What we have not tested
We have not run 5.5 through an API, so we have no 5.5 output, speed or cost data of our own. Every 5.5 cell above comes from ByteDance's public material. Once 5.5 is available we will re-run the same prompt set and update this page rather than publishing conclusions early.
